Twinkle,Twinkle,Little Star!

Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took her boy to a Paderewski concert. After they were seated,the mother spotted an old friend in the audience and walked down the aisle to greet her.

Seizing the opportunity to explore the wonders of the concert hall,the little boy rose and eventually explored his way through a door marked "NO ADMITTANCE".

When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin,the mother returned to her seat and discovered that her son was missing. Suddenly the curtains parted and spotlights focussed on the impressive steinway on stage.
In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the keyboard innocently picking out "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and whispered into the boy's ear,"DON'T QUIT, KEEP PLAYING." Then, leaning over Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in a bass part.Soon his right arm reached around to the other side of the child, and he added a running obbligato.

Together the old master and the young novice transformed what could have been a frightening situation into a wonderfully creative experience.The audience was so mesmerized that they couldn't recall what else the great master played, only the classic," Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

Perhaps that's the way it is with God.What we can accomplish on our own way is hardly noteworthy.
We try our best, but the results aren't always graceful flowing music.However, with the hand of the Master, our life's work can truly be beautiful.

The next time you set out to accomplish great feats, listen carefully.You may hear the voive of the Master, whispering in your ear,"DON"T QUIT." "KEEP PLAYING."

May you feel His arms around you and know that His hands are there, helping you turn your feeble attempts into true masterpieces.Remember God doesn't seem to call the equipped,rather He equips the "CALLED."
Remember,"Life is more accurately measured by the lives you touch than by the things you acquire."

A HUMBLE SPIRIT. (THE VIRTUE OF HUMILITY)

Sometimes a little bit of humble pie goes well with a rich meal.Actually, what passes for conceit in many people is often just a plea for attention. A poor sense of self may cause one to want to be the prominent star in every constellation.

Humility, on the other hand, does not require that one shine less brightly than others, simply that all be given opportunity to shine.Permit me to shed more light on humility with a Story:

A story is told of a day when Washington, then a professor at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, happened to pass the mansion of a wealthy woman as he walked to work.

The woman did not recognize him and called out, “Hey you! Come here! I need some wood chopped!” She was a product of her southern post-Civil War culture and simply perceived him as a black man who was there to do her bidding.

Without a word, Dr. Washington peeled off his jacket, picked up the ax and went to work. He not only cut a large pile of wood, he also carried the firewood into the house and arranged it neatly by the fireplace.

He had scarcely left when a servant said to the woman, “I guess you didn’t recognize him, ma’am, but that was Professor Washington!”Embarrassed and ashamed, the woman hurried over to Tuskegee Institute to apologize.

The great educator respectfully replied: “There’s no need to apologize, madam. I’m delighted to do favors for my friends.”The professor may have taught one of his greatest lessons that day. It was a lesson about astronomy: he taught that every star can shine without one out-shining all the others. It was a lesson about peace: he taught how self-interest must often be set aside for the good of the whole.

And it was a lesson about spirituality: He taught about the power of a meek and humble spirit in a world where aggression is too-often confused with strength.

It is a lesson we are still learning.

GOD COORDINATES OUR WAYS !!!

Mary Wheatley’s heart desire was to join the choir. She was a good singer. She had been singing secular songs all these years. But after she had accepted Jesus as her Savior, she made a vow to the Lord that she would sing only for the glory of God.

And when she saw a notice saying, ”Wanted: One soprano for summer position” in the church bulletin in Washington D.C on a Sunday morning in 1945, her joy knew no bounds. She lost no time in presenting herself to the choir director, who set up an audition for her on the following Sunday. After a lot of prayer, she selected “I walked today where Jesus walked” composed by Geoffery O’Hara, for her audition piece. All week long she practised.

But back at the church on Sunday, she made the dreadful discovery that she had left the music on the bus itslef. And then to her dismay, the choir director who gave her an appointment was out of town and decision about her selection was upto someone else.

The substitute organist was a friendly man, in his sixties. Mary with much hesitation told him that she had lost the music. “What piece where you planning to sing?” he asked. “I walked to day where Jesus walked” she answered.

Assuring her that he could play it from memory, he launched into the accompaniment. “You sang that exactly as it should be sung, and I welcome you to the choir”, the accompanist told her.

Mary was overjoyed. When she was about to leave, she thanked him profusely and asked his name. With a mischievous grin, the organist - and the composer - replied, ”Geoffery O’ Hara“! Mary marveled at the way the Lord HONORED her COMMITMENT to sing for Him alone.

Dear friends, when you make a firm decision that you will stand for the Lord, remember He will definitely honor your commitment. He will create favor in people’s eyes and co-ordinate things in such a way that you would be surprised to see the outcome. - GOD BLESS !

REFUSE TO LISTEN TO SATAN !!

Randy was a drunkard for nearly ten years. Every Friday night after receiving his weekly salary he would straight away go to the wine shop with his friends and would drink his money out.
He would reach home late in the night, abuse his wife and children and the entire house would be like hell, But, by the immense grace of God one day Randy accepted Christ as his Savior .
He confessed his sin and made a firm decision that he would not drink anymore.

As usual once again the payday came. It was Friday. Randy with the money in hand was walking home passing through the wine shop and the Holy Spirit whispered to him to go home straight.

At the same time, Satan kindled his fleshly desire saying, ‘Just one little drink”. Randy tried to resist. But Satan tried another trick. He said, “Just go inside with your friends, but don’t drink”. This seemed a good idea for Randy.

He went inside the wine shop but alas, he fell into the temptation. He drank his ‘heart-full’, returned home and his family encountered the same torture.

The next day the Holy Spirit convicted Randy and he felt extremely guilty and miserable.

He pleaded with God and then with his wife to forgive him. In his quiet time, the Holy Spirit instructed him to change his route from his work spot to his home to escape the temptation of the wine shop.

Randy obeyed the voice of God and on next Friday, the pay day, he said good bye to his friends once for all and took a different route to his home, reached home happily as a victorious man. The entire family rejoiced and praised the Lord.

Dear friends, Satan is always at work in the life of every child of God.He does not bother about us as long as we live according to the ways of the world; but once we make a commitment to follow Jesus, he somehow wants to distract us, and make us drift from the Truth.

But let us resist him in the name of Jesus. Let us make a resolution to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and obey what He says.
If we do so we will not only bring happiness in our lives, but also please God who is our Creator.

Let's say this little Prayer : Loving heavenly Father, I thank you for redeeming me from sin. Help me not to fall into temptation. Empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live a victorious Christian life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

THE QUALITIES OF LIFE.

When I hear somebody sigh, "Life is hard," I am always tempted to ask, "Compared to what?"   Imagine what would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?
 

What then are the Qualities of Life?

---It can be shared forever, but cannot be kept forever. 

When given to another, it brings great joy to all; 

when taken, the anguish for many is great.

---It is sometimes maintained by less than the thread of a string

and sometimes lost despite the hope of millions.

---Its frailty and end are obvious, but its strength and limits endless.

---When this life is over, let the meaning of our lives be found not on a list of accomplishments, but in the hearts and souls of the people with whom we shared our fragile existence.

Therefore, Let our lives not be measured so much by what we did for others, 

but by what we helped people do for themselves.

 

Remember: Life is meaningless only if we allow it to be.

Each of us has the power to give life meaning, to make our time and our bodies and our words into instruments of love and hope.... REMAIN BLESSED

JUST ONE STEP !

Someone was always saying these words to himself: I have a plan, I have a dream, I will one day become a fulfilled personality in my field of study, I'll get rich, I'll build a house, I'll get married to a loving spouse and have nice kids etc.

All this he said over and over without ever making any move for his aspirations.

Permit me to say that foolish people with all their other thoughts, have this one too: They are always getting ready to live, but never living.

Your success will start when you begin to pursue it. To reach your goal or to attain success, you don't need to know all of the answers in advance. You just need to have a clear idea of what your goal is.

Don't procrastinate when faced with difficult problems. Break your problems into parts, and handle one part at a time.

Develop tendencies toward taking action. You can make something happen right now. Divide your big plan into small steps and take that first step right away.

Everyone who ever got where they are had to begin where they were. Your big opportunity is where you are right now.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

People always come into your Life for a Reason, a Season and a Lifetime. When you figure out which it is, do you know exactly what to do?

When Someone is in your life for a REASON,

It is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are. They are there for a reason,you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. 

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON,

It is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. 

Believe it! It is real! But, only for a Season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.

LIFETIME, Relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway);, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. 

It is said that Love is Blind but Friendship is Clairvoyant...REMAIN BLESSED.

WHEN WE FACE REJECTION.

Have you Ever Felt Rejected or neglected by Somebody before; 

Be it by Friends, Family, Community or Group? 

I Want you to know that:--

Though we often face in life
Rejections of every kind
We need to know it’s not the end
And to leave it all behind

And carry on with faith in God
That He will see us through
To fulfill what He has called us for
The work we need to do

And sometimes these rejections
Is a turning point in life
That leads to other avenues
To bring our dreams alive

If we can only see this as
A chance to expand our wings
And see there’s opportunity
To fulfill our godly dreams

For God knows what’s best for us
And He will show the way
We only need to trust in Him
And be on our knees each day

For He will bring it all to pass
Releasing hope inside
As we keep walking with the Lord
And in His love abide.

Finally, Remember This: EVEN THOUGH THE WORLD REJECTS YOU, THERE IS ONE PERSON YOU CAN ALWAYS TURN TO AND HE'LL ALWAYS BE THERE & READY TO ACCEPT YOU:- JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR..... REMAIN BLESSED.

IS LIFE A RISK?

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out to another is to risk involvement.
To expose your feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken,
because the greatest risk of all is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing, does nothing,
has nothing and is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but he cannot learn, he cannot feel,
he cannot change, he cannot grow
and he cannot love.
Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave.
Only the person who risks is truly free

Would You Cease to Exist Due To The Fact That Life Appears Risky? Definitely not. 
THINK OF THIS: Every man has the right to risk his own life in order to preserve it.  Has it ever been said that a man who throws himself out the window to escape from a fire is guilty of suicide?

SINCERE FAITH PRAYER

This is an awesome prayer. Believe it and you shall be blessed.
The problem with many of us is that we don't believe that God will open a window and pour out blessings that we won't have enough room to receive them. I dare anyone to try God. He is true to His Word. God cannot lie and His promises are sure.

Three things will happen to you this Month:
(1) You will find favor with someone you don't expect;
(2) You will be too relevant to be ignored;
(3) You will encounter God and you will never remain the same.

My prayer for you today:
The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hands that will send this message to others shall not labor in vain, the mouth saying Amen to this prayer shall laugh forever.
Remain in God's love as you send this prayer to somebody today. Have a lovely journey of life!

LOVE AND TIME

Have you given Love or seeked Love before? Be it for a Person or something you've always desired, and it's like nothing is fort coming and like its all a waste of time?
Permit me to use a story to encourage and cheer u up:

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
 When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."..

SO KEEP NURTURING THAT LOVE YOU HAVE OR YOU DESIRE AND WITH TIME IT WILL YIELD THE BEST OF FRUITS...REMAIN BLESSED.

FORGIVING FROM THE HEART

Forgiving does not erase the bitter past.
A healed memory is not a deleted memory.
Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember.
We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future.

It takes one person to forgive
it takes two people to be reunited.

Vengeance is having a videotape planted in your soul that cannot be turned off.
It plays the painful scene over and over again inside your mind...
And each time it plays you feel the clap of pain again...
Forgiving turns off the videotape of pained memory.
Forgiving sets you free.

To forgive is to set a prisoner free
and discover that the prisoner was you.

Irrespective Of How Hard It May Be To Forgive When We Are Wronged Or Offended, We Should Always Have It In Our Hearts That:

Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. 

It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.

Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice; It is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express.

And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful.

If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
